Pics shows: The injured pupil;nnA secondary school teacher has been sacked after he slapped a chatty pupil so hard it left palm prints on the boy¿s face where his blood vessels had burst.nnThe boy named only as ¿Xiao Le¿, who is believed to be about 17, has since been diagnosed with left-ear hearing loss, blurry vision in his left eye, as well as a concussion.nnThe pupil with Suyu Middle School in Suqian city¿s Suyu district in East China¿s Jiangsu province was hit "more than 10 times" by his furious teacher, surnamed Sun, his classmate said.nnXiao Le and his class were in the middle of a self-study session when Sun lost his temper because they refused to stop chatting.nnThe boy¿s classmate was quoted as saying: "During the self-study session at night, the teacher came into the classmate and first hit a girl before starting to beat Xiao Le."nnAfter being repeatedly struck, Xiao Le was left with burst blood vessels on the left side of his face, with the injuries appearing to resemble the shape of his teacher¿s palm.nnHe was still recovering at the time of the report on 4th July.nnThe Suqian education bureau said the school would pay for the boy¿s medical expenses as well as dismiss the teacher involved and deduct his entire salary for the 2017-2018 academic year.nnSchool officials would also be "spoken to", with a view to avoiding similar incidents in the future.nnSuqian city police are also said to be involved in the ongoing investigation, but it is unclear whether the teacher faces assault charges too.
