An Appeal court in the French city of Colmar today April 6 put off a decision on Serbia’s request for the extradition of Ramush Haradinaj on suspicion that he committed war crimes in Kosovo.
Pre-Trial Chamber, in accordance with the requirements of the Prosecutor’s Office ordered the submission of additional information, and the next hearing is scheduled for April 6th.
Authorities had detained Haradinaj as he flew into France on Jan. 4 following a request from Serbia, which says he is a war criminal for his role in leading a guerrilla insurgency in its former southern province of Kosovo.
