The Kosovo Parliament was constituted today at 15:00, after it was interrupted earlier by its oldest MP, Adem Mikullovci.
The interruption came after the PAN coalition, (Democratic Party, Alliance for Future of Kosovo and Initiative), which won the elections, demanded two hours to consult about the name of the candidate for Parliament Speaker.
Kosovo media report that Kadri Veseli remained the only candidate offered by the coalition. His voting was the main purpose of today’s session.
The new Kosovo Parliament will also vote for its leaders. Political analysts say that the problems met in the very first session show that this Parliament is expected to have many difficulties in the future.
