Duke folur në Asamblenë Botërore të Shëndetit, kancelarja gjermane Angela Merkel ka mbrojtur punën e OBSH-së, por sugjeroi se mund të përmirësohet.

“Organizata Botërore e Shëndetit është institucion legjitim, global, ku të gjitha temat bëhen së bashku. Sepse ky është rasti që ne duhet të vazhdojmë të shikojmë se si mund të përmirësojmë më tej funksionimin e saj,” tha Merkel përmes një video-lidhjeje..

Merkel tha se bashkëpunimi ndërkombëtar ishte thelbësor për tejkalimin e pandemisë, transmeton Klan Kosova.

OBSH është kritikuar ashpër nga disa liderë botërorë, veçanërisht presidenti amerikan Donald Trump, i cili e ka akuzuar atë për keqmenaxhim të pandemisë.
