Most of Serbian citizens think that the problems between Serbia and Kosovo should be resolved, with or without EU intervention.
This opinion is result of a poll held recently by the Serbian Ministry of European Integration.
The poll shows that 59% of Serbian citizens value dialogue as necessary, regardless of how much the EU is involved.
However, the percentage of citizens supporting dialogue has dropped in comparison with the past. In December 2013, there were 70% of citizens supporting dialogue.
This may be explained by the fact that in 2013, the agreement reached between Belgrade and Prishtina was an important milestone for the relations between both countries.
The percentage of the people not supporting the negotiations has increased with 30%, but this can be explained to the fact that talks intermediated by Brussels have entered a stalemate.
