Ish-kapiteni i Liverpool Steven Gerrard e ka përshkruar sulmuesin e Milanit Mario Balotelli si një “mbeturinë spektakolare e talenteve”.

Balotelli kaloi më 2014-15 në Anfield dhe ka luajtur vetëm 10 ndeshje në Premier Ligë dhe përsëri u kthye në San Siro në formë huazimi.

Gerrard ka zbuluar tani në autobiografinë e tij, e cila është duke u përgatitë nga Daily Mail, se ai kishte shqetësime në lidhje me profesionalizmin e Balotellit.

“Unë kurrë nuk e kisha takuar Balotellin, por unë kisha dëgjuar të gjitha historitë rreth tij dhe Jose Mourinho e kishte përshkruar atë si një lojtar të pakontrollueshëm. Aai ishte një futbollist me cilësi, por pjesa tjetër e karrierës së tij dukej si një mbeturinë spektakolare e talentëve. Ky ishte mendimi im për Balotellin. Ndonëse ai ka luajtur mirë për Italinë”, ka thënë Gerrard.
